Coconuts cause roof damage
Your roof is one of the most essential components of your home (other than the foundation).
You want to ensure you take care of it and prolong it's life. It's suggested that you get your roof inspected annually as well as getting a pre-storm inspection so you have "proof of roof" condition.
There are always outside factors and elements that affect your roofs condition...from the sun, hail, high winds, hurricanes, driving rains to the less obvious-coconuts.
You may or may not know that a falling coconut can kill a person if they're hit with it. What do you think it can do to your roof? Coconuts become fast moving missiles that can cause costly roof damage to the house.
Make sure to prune your palm trees and remove coconuts regularly, especially prior to a storm system or hurricane coming through your area.
